Call for papers: Thematic dossier: Human Rights and Liberties: The Contemporary Humanism.

 

Faculdade Mineira de Direito” Law Journal invites to submit papers between September 1st.  and November 1st. 2022 for the thematic dossier: Human Rights and Liberties: The Contemporary Humanism. Aware that there is still much to investigate about the theme, the journal dedicates an exclusive issue to these debates. The journal’s team is interested in submissions with an interdisciplinary approach, departing from Human Rights’ perspective, because the impact of Human Rights into the new issues of present time provoked emergencies witch can be felt in all humanities.

Jurists are invited to discuss legal topics on legal and judicial phenomena of Human Rights and Liberties: The Contemporary Humanism, such as:

  • The gap between Law and Justice;
  • State regulation of liberties and Human Rights;
  • Justice and freedom of expression and religion;
  • Development and Human Dignity;
  • The role of globalization and Human Rights;

Manuscripts must be submitted online through Submissões | Revista da Faculdade Mineira de Direito (pucminas.br) or mail: fmd@pucminas.br. Authors need to register with the journal prior to submitting and, as part of the submission process, authors are required to check the Journal’s guideline available at Normas Éticas e Normas de Conduta da Revista da Faculdade Mineira de Direito | Revista da Faculdade Mineira de Direito (pucminas.br)

The Journal is an peer-reviewed electronic open access journal. Each paper published in the Journal is assigned a DOI number, which appears beneath the author's affiliation in the published paper. The editorial board welcomes Portuguese-written articles. Are also welcome both English-written and Spanish-written articles.

The 2023-1 special issue will be coordinated by prof. Cláudio Brandão (Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais) and prof. Sílvia Alves (Universidade de Lisboa).
