Abstract

Due to the organizational context, most legacy migrations in the public sector occur when technology loses support. This makes it difficult to evolve aspects of the software and leads to the creation of systems that are not very scalable, which do not meet the user’s needs. The present work proposes the microservices architecture for government system updates. The objective is to create an evaluation model that provides parameters for the adherence of the architecture in the migration processes of these applications. To this end, a case study was carried out that investigated the sector’s relationship with the scenarios generated by institutional conjunctures, created the model, and carried out an opinion survey to validate it. The results of the study showed that the model, even not contemplating some relevant aspects for the execution of a software project, can contribute to the adhesion of the architecture and the concession of better systems.
