Video analysis has recently emerged in the academic environment as a process that activates the interest and motivates students involved in the study of physics. Video analysis configures a new way of teaching physics - and this goes beyond the mere idea of methodology - because video analysis makes it possible to mobilize technology (smartphones, computers, and spreadsheets) and the objects that constitute the actual moving bodies whose trajectories are the object of study, together with the authors of the process: students and teachers. We highlight the Tracker software as an educational tool suitable for video analysis. Thus, the objective of this work is to carry out a Systematic Literature Review on publications in the main sources of Brazilian literature, such as journals and institutional repositories on science teaching. The basis for this literature review was search parameters aiming at mapping the use of video analysis and Tracker in classrooms. We specified the search parameters considering the publication period between 2001 and 2018, the scope of journals and repositories, and the appropriate search keyword. The increasing number of publications in teaching journals, dissertations, and theses evidences the dissemination and adherence to the usage of video analysis with Tracker. This work served as inspiration for the development of a new program for video analysis, in Portuguese, available on the Android platform, free of charge.
