Este artigo faz uma investigação sobre a relação entre identidade europeia e integração regional. Tendo-se admitido a existência de uma identidade europeia fundada nas dimensões cívico-institucional, histórico-cultural e nacional, este trabalho propõe uma análise tridimensional das percepções identitárias nacionais dos Estados-membros da União Europeia e um modelo de distribuição espacial.
