Abstract

Rio 92 opened the doors to an ongoing debate about the best actions to achieve sustainable development. Thus, this article aims to discuss the successes and gaps observed since Agenda 21, the construction of the Millennium Development Goals and reaching the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals.
