Abstract

Abstract

This article aims to analyze China's path beyond economic cooperation, which has been studied at various levels and academic areas, and bring a new analysis of forms of cooperation, especially in the multilateral field, specifically for peace and stability in the African continent. This phenomena is present in the speeches of President Hu Jintao, at the United Nations, in 2005 and President Xi Jinping, in 2020, at the opening ceremony of the Chinese international import and export expo. For this, it is intended to answer, why does China engage in peace on the African continent? What is the common historical path between China and the African continent? However, the mixed methodology was used, which has quantitative and qualitative, theoretical-explanatory, as well as exploratory methodologies.
