Descrições dos movimentos sociais e agro ecossistema em assentamento no brejo paraibano / Descriptions of social movements and in agroecosystem in the brejo of Paraiba

Resumo

A área do Brejo paraibano tem passado por uma grande mudança nos últimos anos, com falências das grandes usinas e um intenso trabalho dos movimentos sociais. O assentamento Santa Maria em Pilões – PB é um modelo regional com essas características. Porém, existem poucos registros literários sobre essses movimentos. Portanto, o objetivo deste trabalho é descrever os movimentos sociais e o agroecossistema encontrados em um assentamento paraibano. A metodologia utilizada consiste na especificação do agroecossistema pelo catálogo das relações locais, pelo uso da metodologia FOFA e também pela comparação com literatura especializada. A área analisada tem inúmeras possibilidades de crescimento, um bom agroecossistema, uma marcante busca dos movimentos sociais pelo bem comum local. Logo, concluímos que o assentamento pode servir de modelo para áreas de conversão produtivas.

Abstract

The area of Paraiba Heath has undergone a major change in recent years, with bankruptcies of large power plants and intensive work of social movements. The settlement Santa Maria in Pylons - PB is a regional model with these features. However, there is little literary records of these movements. Therefore, the aim of this study is to describe the social movements and the agro-ecosystem found in Paraiba a settlement. The methodology used is the description of the catalog of local agro-ecosystem relationships, the use of FOFA methodology and by comparison with the literature. The area described has many growth opportunities, a good agro-ecosystem, an emotional search of social movements for the common good location. Soon we conclude that the settlement can be a model for productive conversion areas.
