De Chernobyl a Fukushima: os impactos dos danos ambientais nos direitos das crianças
Resumo
Derramamentos nucleares apresentam danos para o meio ambiente e para os seres humanos, principalmente para grupos tidos como vulneráveis pela comunidade internacional como as crianças. Utilizando a convergência entre a proteção dos direitos ambientais e dos direitos das crianças, este trabalho analisa os impactos de acidentes nucleares com causas antrópicas (excluindo o uso de armas e liberações radioativas fora de usinas nucleares) no meio ambiente e suas consequências para os direitos das crianças, com o estudo dos casos de Chernobyl (por ser o mais emblemático) e de Fukushima (por ser o mais recente). Também foca-se como a comunidade internacional (Estados, organizações internacionais e da sociedade civil) reagiu a isso, de modo a ressaltar que os aprendizados realizados após Chernobyl foram aplicados para responder a Fukushima, o que possibilitou que menos crianças tivessem seus direitos violados. Dessa forma, pretende-se diversificar os temas estudados nas Relações Internacionais e contribuir para estudos nas áreas de direitos humanos e segurança nuclear.Downloads
