ESTRUTURA E SENTIDO EXISTENCIAL DA ESPERANÇA

A esperança não é um fenômeno examinado em detalhe por Heidegger. Da analítica existencial de Ser e Tempo resulta uma interpretação em que a negatividade e a finitude são intrínsecas ao modo de ser da existência. Esse resultado aparenta ser inconsistente com a ontologia implicada em uma compreensão adequada da esperança. O meu objetivo nesse artigo é analisar uma passagem em Ser e Tempo, na qual Heidegger apresenta sinteticamente o que considera o decisivo para a estrutura do fenômeno da esperança. Dessa análise resulta a exposição do sentido existencial da esperança, que está fundada no modo de ser autêntico e na finitude da existência humana. Fundada na temporalidade originária da existência, como antecipação proléptica do esperado e retenção do evento da formação de um si mesmo autêntico, a esperança é exibida como intrinsecamente finita. Segundo Heidegger, a esperança enraíza-se, portanto, nas determinações ontológicas mais fundamentais da existência humana.
