O Renminbi no pós-crise: a condução e estratégia do processo de internacionalização da moeda após a crise financeira de 2008
The post-crisis renminbi: the conduct and strategy of the currency's internationalization process after the 2008 financial crisis against the power of the US dollar

O presente trabalho busca identificar os movimentos do Sistema Financeiro e Monetário Internacional (SFMI) no cenário do pós crise de 2008, em especial os fatos ocorridos com o Renminbi (RMB) da China. Percebeu-se que a moeda americana e sua economia política baseada num forte sistema financeiro não colapsaram, ao contrário, tiveram aumento de importância relativa. O RMB teve uma trajetória de tendência crescente, mas com uma retração de 2015 a 2017. Perguntou-se se a China, desde o período da crise até hoje, teve avanços no processo de internacionalização do RMB? A resposta é que sim, em decorrência de iniciativas que visaram fechar acordo comerciais em RMB como a Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) e pelos seus mercados financeiros offshore, que aumentaram de importância e complexidade ao longo do tempo.
