Abstract

O presente trabalho examina o dilema dos refugiados na Itália. Buscou-se interpretar o fenômeno através do arcabouço teórico da Escola Inglesa das Relações Internacionais e da abordagem desenvolvida pelo cientista político britânico Alexander Betts. O trabalho ainda trouxe a temática dos refugiados para o debate acadêmico nas Relações Internacionais através da averiguação de um caso prático. As migrações internacionais têm sido um fenômeno intenso na atualidade e junto delas surgem problemas de complexa superação. Este trabalho buscou mostrar soluções para os dilemas vividos por migrantes forçados na república italiana através de uma moderna literatura desenvolvida sobre o tema.
