Abstract

The rapid development of vaccines as the last hope for ending the pandemic caused a lot of anxiety among the population regarding the immunization process, which was highly aggravated by the awareness of vaccinating as a legal and biological value. The issue now being analyzed involves, therefore, the use of judgment and common sense, without underestimating the issue of public health, collective interest and respect for business policies and the governing power of the employer, guardian and responsible for maintaining the safe and healthy working environment. Thus, in the present study, important reflections were carried out on vaccination, as it involves a global health issue. In addition to this observation, the issue of mandatory vaccination has to be seen from the anthropological dimension, not ending in a mere biological or legal analysis.
