Abstract

This is a cross-sectional study carried out, through the collection of secondary data available in the Information System of the National Immunization Program SUS, with the target population being children under one year. It is noted that Sergipe had a deficient vaccine coverage based on the target of 95%, and with an average coverage of 88.50% of the population. In view of this, it is understood that among the challenges encountered, the coping strategies to improve the community's adherence rate in relation to vaccination programs stand out, as well as the creation of alternatives in the search for absentees, the control of vaccination by range age, information about the vaccination calendar, in addition to specific actions, such as National Vaccination Campaign Day and daily vaccination practices in Basic Health Units, daycare centers and schools.
