MALFORMAÇÕES EM FETOS POR TÉCNICAS DE REPRODUÇÃO ASSISTIDA. PROBLEMA?

Abstract

The aim was to observe whether or not the increase in the incidence types of malformations of fetuses resulting from assisted reproductive technology. A survey was conducted in the bibliographic databases MEDLINE ® with the following keywords: fetus malformations and assisted reproduction. Found a total of 521 articles. The study excluded 161 studies. Selection period of publication from 2010 to 2022. The results showed 24.800 malformations. The cardiac malformations were present in 40.2% of the cases. Changes in the abdominal wall and / or digestive tract in 22.3%. The defects of bone formation by 13.2%, central nervous system disorders 7.7% and 7.0% with the genitourinary tract. Other isolated malformations 9.6% of cases. We did not observe a significant increase in malformations among all live births, when compared with the incidence of malformations in the fetus does not come from assisted reproduction techniques.
