A CULTURA ESCOLAR COMO MECANISMO DE EXCLUSÃO SOCIAL

Abstract

 

The text aimed to retake the discussion about school exclusion and, thus, to briefly point out the historical and social linkages of culture as one of the mechanisms of the effectiveness of social exclusion. We performed a theoretical reflection of authors references in the object searched. In the course of analyzing the texts that served as the basis for the article, it was observed the need to reinsert this theme at the heart of the educational debate, because, unlike the twentieth century. The twenty-first century faces not only the challenge of social difference, but also the challenge of repairing ethnic-racial conflicts, promoting gender discussion and sexual diversity, which are still confined within the school in the name of conservation of the status quo.
