Abstract

This article aims to analyze the learning processes of mathematics and its importance in the incorporation of play, aiming to identify games, toys and games as primordial elements in the expansion of the cognitive level in the teaching-learning process in children's education. It aims to understand the importance of the playful to the child, perceiving the student as an active participant in the learning process through games that can be used as stimulating, facilitating and enriching tools. It also points to the play-mathematical value; always considering the reality lived by the child, and the role of the teacher in the construction of these logical-mathematical knowledge, experienced by this relationship, with the purpose of guaranteeing an effective learning.
