Abstract

This article is a theoretical-conceptual research where we discuss some conjectures present in the field of Linguistics and its relation to the prejudice experienced by those who share an existing linguistic variability in Brazil, the retroflex r The article aims to explain and understand to what extent these phenomena are systematized within the use of language and consequently its variability and the prejudice suffered by individuals with this characteristic. In this context, we point out the need of studies that address the psychosocial and language vicissitudes equally and free of prejudice, through language and its peculiarities within the human development processes.
