Abstract

This study aims to raise questions about the challenges faced by students with special
educational needs (SEN) during remote education, a situation that has arisen because of the
COVID-19 pandemic. In this context, the methodology used is based on bibliographic
research and data collection, through the application of an online questionnaire. From the
analysis of materials, it is possible to observe the pedagogical implications of remote teaching
in the daily lives of apprentices with special educational needs and to objectify ways for the
teaching-learning process of these students to be performed in a better way. In addition, the
study shows that several reasonable adaptations, as well as curricular adaptations, are
necessary for school inclusion to occur.
