Abstract

Full-Time Education is highlighted to increase educational quality, with the presumed purpose of preparing
students for life in society, achieving Integral Education (properly said). The research proposes the discussion of
the reality in which Full-Time Education takes place, placing the case study of a public school in the
municipality of Itaguara - MG as a cutout. As for the methodological procedures, a qualitative analysis was
chosen, with exploratory research being chosen as the means of investigation. It was possible to see that the
analyzed school aims at Integral Education, as a full-time human formation. However, it was found that the
welfare perspective and school reinforcement are predominant in the context of Full-Time Education developed
there.
