Abstract

The aim of the present study is to contribute to the discussion about socio-emotional
competencies in the First Childhood in the light of the BNCC (National Curricular Common
Base) regarding socio-emotional competencies. Emotions should be work with children in the
classroom romanearly age, the teachers should observe their feelings and emotions. Early
childhood is the richest phase in terms of cognitive, emotional and psychomotor of the child,
inserting, apply these competences at this stage is extremely important because they are
appropriating their identity. Starting practice their socioemotional knowledge in the school

stage, they will be able to solve problems and conflicts with emotional intelligence throughout
their lives. This project is the resulted of a bibliographical research was applied done on the
subject, culminating in the elaboration of this project that was applied during three weeks in
the classroom of the 1st year of Basic Education I.
