Abstract

This work presents reflections on the remote teaching school planning for Mathematics
discipline in two school years of the Youth and Adult Elementary Education Project - 2nd
Segment of the Pedagogical Center of the Federal University of Minas Gerais. For this
planning, we carried out several studies on EJA, Mathematics teaching and popular education.
In Paulo Freire, we take, especially as conceptions of dialogue, as fundamental in the
development of the pedagogical process, recognizing educational practice as a political
practice. From this, we were able to elaborate a specific pedagogical proposal, which took
into account the concerns and particularities of our young, adult or elderly students in a
perspective of popular and emancipatory education.
