Abstract

This article aims to portray the Education of Youth and Adults pointing out the main campaigns and programs about this teaching modality. This study has an exploratory – descriptive character, since it makes it possible to relate, analyze and characterize. It is based that Youth and Adult Education allows the inclusion of subjects who did not have access or interrupted their studies before concluding. This article makes it possible to reflect on the social function of the school, as well as the role of the teacher in relation to this modality of teaching in Basic Education. In this work, some of the main historical factors belonging to this modality are exposed.
