A responsabilidade civil por abandono afetivo

Abstract

This study aimed to study the possibility of civil liability for emotional abandonment within the family nucleus. To this end, we seek to understand the function and current meaning of the family; reduce the concept and legal nature of affection, as well as what it means by emotional abandonment; analyze the limits of the scope of the law and the effectiveness of its regulation with respect to civil liability for emotional abandonment; and we sought to understand civil liability and the possibility of moral damage in the indicated context.
