Sensibilização para a escolha profissional: experiência no PUC Aberta unidade São Gabriel
Abstract
This article presents the practice done at the PUC Aberta, a relationship event held by the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais, Brazil, São Gabriel unit, proposed as an extension activity of the Professional Guidance discipline, aimed at sensitizing young people who are finishing high school about their career choice and about the construction of a life project. Through structured meetings in interactive lectures and psychosocial workshops, reflection was promoted on what moves participants about their professional desire, as well as the possibilities and crossings that may influence the trajectory of each. The young were able to share their experiences and anxieties, and from that they considered the decision making. The group was invited to become instrumental through research on the courses of interest, the forms of insertion in technical and higher education, and the labor market. Through this practice, it was observed the importance of sensitization in Professional Guidance that constitutes as a space for listening and elaboration of the anxieties that permeate the process of choosing a profession.
