TECNOLOGIAS AGROPECUÁRIAS PARA O DESENVOLVIMENTO RURAL E PRODUÇÃO DE ALIMENTOS EM COMUNIDADES DE PEQUENOS AGRICULTORES E SISTEMAS TRADICIONAIS
Abstract
The article shows that there is a set of technologies and innovations that, with the participation of farmers, can contribute to improving the productive performance of traditional systems and small farmers in the Amazon. It presents four cases of technologies developed for the reality of family farmers and traditional communities: the management of açaí in the estuary of the Amazon River, the development of guaraná cultivars, the productivity trio for the cultivation of cassava and the system for food production. The methodology used was the literature review, seeking information mainly in books and scientific articles about the technologies presented and also on general aspects of the topic addressed by the article. It is concluded that there is an increasing concern to generate technologies that can improve the living conditions of farmers so that they remain in rural areas, with food security, in conditions to provide their livelihood from a more efficient agriculture. There is also a concern with valuing the endogenous potential existing in rural communities and territories.
