Abstract

This article investigates the current transformations in work organization and management, particularly in the context of the digital revolution, with a specific focus on the significant impacts of algorithms on subjectivation processes and their interfaces across different work contexts and modalities. Its objective is to analyze the possible effects that algorithms may have on work activities, as well as on subjectivity formation processes within and beyond the workplace, through an analysis based on a series of theoretical studies and relevant research. The transition to digital work goes beyond mere digitization of conventional activities. It encompasses broad changes that cross political, economic, cultural, and social dimensions. After all, the technologies that currently predominate influence not only discourses, but also the very configuration of work, inserting elements, such as flexibility, into a context in constant motion and mutations, prompting the individual to make new and different uses-of-self. Therefore, in this scenario of intense and deep transformations, the exploration and understanding of these emerging dynamics becomes crucial.
