TECNOLOGIA PARA EFICIÊNCIA ENERGÉTICA EM UMA INDÚSTRIA ALIMENTÍCIA
Abstract
This paper presents a statistical study of the results of an efficiency project developed and financed by an energy company to reduce the consumption and demand for electrical energy in the food industry. The refrigeration system was optimized by improving the specific consumption kWh/TR. Based on the measurement methodology, supported by the international measurement and verification protocol, and the company's project experience, improvements in the system were identified, with interventions in the compressors to increase the refrigeration generation capacity from 7,398,812 kcal/h to 10,921,204 kcal/h. The data obtained from the measurements statistically proved that the interventions resulted in higher production and lower electricity consumption.
