PERCEPÇÃO DOS MORADORES SOBRE A PAISAGEM URBANA DO BAIRRO CRISTO REI EM CONGONHAS/MG

Abstract

The perception of the landscape can be understood in different ways. The objective of its study can be presented, comprising forms, or forming a critical spatial thinking about the district of Cristo Rei in relation to the topophilic and topophobic feelings of its residents to the surrounding elements. For this, the bibliographic study proposed the realization of a landscape study, as well as the involvement of environmental perception. In addition, how to generate a known place, based on recognition by some authors and through a randomly questionnaire applied to residents, how they are perceived and feeling related to the place where they live. The importance of the study is for the understanding of the landscape, the landmarks and the elements of the landscape most valued by the residents, which thus, in the future, the construction of more designed spaces and landscapes more approprieted for this neighborhood. According to the results, the Casa de Pedra dam establishes a topophobic relationship with the residents and the vegetation present in the neighborhood offers feelings of affection, related to the topophilic feelings.
