CONCEPTIONS OF HAPPINESS BETWEEN WOMEN ON MIDDLE AGED

This article presents the fruits of a research that aimed to understand the multiple conceptions of happiness among women from 47 to 54 years old, considering the unique-individual form that each subjectivity brings of being happy despite, and at the same time, facing the experience of a same age group. For this, a theoretical research was used to explore the crossings and aspects that could be said common to age and gender, as influences of affective love and family relationships, relationship with the body and aging, and other aspects that may be involved in each woman's happiness. In addition, seven interviews were conducted with women in this age group at different socioeconomic levels and, through their reports, we sought to investigate and understand uniqueness in the ways of experiencing the same stage of life, of constituting and seeking one's own happy being.
