About the Journal

HISTORY

It is with joy that the Faculty of Psychology at PUC Minas presents the Pretextos to the academic community. Or rather, it re-presents, therefore, the periodical, secure, was an instrument of record and archiving of materials made for the Journey of the Clinic of the Department of Psychology at PUC Minas, When the course was still restricted to the Coração Eucarístico campus. The texts were typed and circulated internally. Today, the journal is rescued and its scope of publication has been expanded: the publication aims to encourage the scientific dissemination of studies developed in the area of Psychology by students, teachers, professionals and researchers from PUC Minas or any other Higher Education Institution.

Pretextos gathers articles from internship practices, scientific initiation and university extension and course completion research (monograph). Attention is given to the texts available during or as a result of the graduation process, since the Faculty of Psychology at PUC Minas already has Psicologia em Revista[1], a journal under the care of the Graduate Program in Psychology and that although it may also include in its scope the productions of undergraduate students, it does not have these as a preferred audience.

Texts in Portuguese or Spanish can be published.
