Abstract

In Contemporary Age, the use of social media and technologies aimed at social interaction affects the modes of subjectivation. They can act as a possibility of social media insertion, manners of representation of the reality and space of overexposure, in which social limits appear even more fluid than in face-to-face interactions. Although excluded from the social bond, psychotic subjects invariably share of such technologies, since the non-insertion into language does not preclude their apprehension. Thus, the present experience report aimed to articulate the experiences that occurred in a psychosocial care center, based on systematic observational visits and informal interviews, with the aim of analyzing the use of social media as support to the possibility of extracting the object a. It was noticed that the use of certain devices offered by social media may serve to the momentary stabilizations in the treatment of psychosis.
