This report presents a reflection on the process of elaborating the educational site of the Municipal School Professora Eleonora Pieruccetti (EMPEP) - from the city of Belo Horizonte (MG) - thought from the situation experienced by the school due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We present, through a brief history of the events that EMPEP experienced in the year 2020, in the light of theorists such as Chartier (1998), Masseto (2000), Belloni (2005) and BNCC (2017) and from the discussions made in meetings, an analysis of the reasons for creating a website as one of the main resources of our school to develop a rapprochement with students and an attempt to establish remote teaching. Therefore, we want our experience to be meaningful for the entire school community.
