Existences and Resistances in the Anthropological Labyrinth

Abstract

This essay is a reflexive tessiture about the ways in which postmodern Anthropology perpasses and about the post-colonial studies. Starting from the book A queda do céu, I take in consideration the actual scenario - pandemic, ambiental crimes, massacre against indigenous people - and the encounter of anthropologist Bruce Albert with the intellectual Yanonami diplomat Davi Kopenawa. The text comes tenuously loaded of hopes and dreams mixed with explicit horror by these particularly bad times lived by the Brazilian people, that watches, confined and perplexed, to the genocide of indigenous people, to the total negligency towards the ambiental issues and the sistematic (and historical) extermination of black people that built, with sweat and blood, this country.
