ETHICAL CONFLICTS REGARDING GENDER VIOLENCE AND THE DANGERS OF REVICTIMIZATION

Abstract

Brazilian women are heiresses of a state apparatus historically founded on ideals of patriarchy, with their individualities ignored especially in the political sphere. When dealing specifically with gender violence, although this is restrained through protective legislation, there are few studies that specifically address the forms of gender violence practiced through institutions. Therefore, the present research, through a bibliographical review and using the deductive method, aimed to promote an analysis of institutional violence - specifically addressing the legal institutions and the social media, responsible, respectively, for the protection of victims of violence. of gender and the propagation of this violence through the media - in order to understand which ethical conflicts can be identified in the way that these institutions actually deal with gender violence, understanding that these dealings, when done irresponibly, can promote revictimization.
