The study assesses the contemporary world and the consequences of social networks on people's lives. Analyzing the concepts of big data and big other, it seeks to contextualize the capture of the subjectivity of the worker and consumer. In this context, it develops the idea of Jeremy Bentham’s panopticon, showing its refinement by the society of control, portraying its relevance as a conditioner of attitudes and capturing surplus value through work, consumption and data extraction.
