This article aims to present the innovative project of the Itinerant Environmental Museum implemented by the Environmental Military Police Battalion of the Federal District – BPMA/DF. This approach is intended to encourage the renewal of the project and future fundraising to resume environmental education activities by the aforementioned BPMA/DF Itinerant Environmental Museum, with a view to preserving the cerrado biome. The study proved that this is an innovative project in the Federal District and that it can bring significant results in the area of environmental education and the circular economy, minimizing the current environmental damage caused to the cerrado
biome, in addition to helping to reduce environmental crimes committed in the capital. federal and region. The starting point was a bibliographical consultation, guided by the deductive method and mediated by a descriptive-interpretative approach, seeking to explain the concepts of museum, museology and sustainability applied to the project of the Environmental Military Police Battalion of the Federal District.
