Abstract

A obra "Demonstração da pregação apostólica" é uma das duas grandes obras escritas em grego por Irineu de Lyon que chegaram até nós. Nesse escrito, o autor buscará, a priori, catequisar os fieis de sua Igreja e, consequentemente, combater as heresias de seu tempo. Por outro lado, podemos também entender a formulação dos fundamentos do cristianismo e a sua originalidade num contexto de perseguições  à Igreja. Em suma, teremos acesso a síntese teológica de Irineu e o fenômeno herético de seu tempo, denominado como gnosticismo.

Sou Vitor Vinicios da Silva nascido na região do sul de Mina Gerais, mais especificamente na cidade de Três Corações. Atualmente, tenho 25 anos e sou religioso na Ordem dos Frades Menores e curso filosofia no Instituto Santo Tomás de Aquino.
