Medea de lutas e resistências na releitura de Grace Pasô

O presente trabalho aborda a peça teatral “Mata Teu Pai”, de Grace Passô (2017), a partir das lutas e desafios enfrentados pela mulher na contemporaneidade. A peça é uma releitura da tragédia grega Medea, de Eurípedes. Na releitura de Passô, a peça transforma o mito em um espaço de resistência à medida que a protagonista estabelece um ato de vulnerabilidade (segundo a ótica de Levinas), ao compartilhar suas dores. Ao fazê-lo, valoriza a sororidade e confronta as estruturas de poder. Em “Mata teu pai”, Medea acolhe a dor do Outro em si.
