Author Biography

Stephanie Rivera Berruz, SUNY Buffalo

Stephanie Rivera Berruz, M.A. is an Arturo Schomburg Fellow at SUNY Buffalo working on her dissertation under the guidance of Dr. Jorge Gracia. She is a researcher of Latin American Philosophy, Feminist theory, and Philosophy of race and her current research project seeks to examine the ways in which the discipline of philosophy in the U.S. academy has been structured to privilege white male discourse, and the effect this has on how we understand Latin American philosophy within the discipline.
