Nietzsche e as Críticas à Filosofia da História e à Historiografia Científica do século XIX – uma análise da Primeira Parte da 2ª Consideração Intempestiva
Abstract
Este artigo busca desenvolver uma reflexão sobre a visão historiográfica do filósofo Friedrich Nietzsche, particularmente aquela que é expressa na Segunda Consideração Intempestiva (1874). Em virtude da riqueza do texto, limitamo-nos à primeira parte deste pequeno ensaio intitulado “Sobre a utilidade e os inconvenientes da história para a vida”. Veremos nesta parte, em especial, a crítica que Nietzsche desfecha contra os diversos gêneros historiográficos em voga na sua própria época, bem como suas observações acerca da possibilidade de desenvolvimento de um modelo de História que sirva à própria vida. Em certo momento do artigo, também empreenderemos uma comparação entre Nietzsche e Walter Benjamin, outro filósofo que também pensa a descontinuidade na história.
This article attempts to develop a reflection about the historiographical conception of the german philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, in particular the conception that is expressed in the Second Untimely Meditations (1874). In attention to the richness of the text, the article will observe the limit of the first part of this little essay named “About the utility and inconveniences of History for Life”. We are going to analyze, in this part, especially the critical moved by Nietzsche against the various historiographical genres of his epoch, as well the observations of the philosopher about the possibilities of development of a History model that can be useful for the Life. In certain moment, will be made a comparison between Nietzsche and Walter Benjamin, another philosopher that also considers the historical discontinuity.
