RESUMO
Este artigo analisa a função e relevância do pensamento filosófico, em sua abertura para o real, através de uma analogia com os textos de memória de Simone de Beauvoir. Filosofia e memória prescrevem um método de abordagem paradoxal e crítico de si mesmo, exigindo trilhar veios de leitura próprios para a compreensão do sentido da cultura. Pretendo demonstrar o significado basilar do pensar filosófico na obra de Beauvoir enquanto decifração da alma humana e das relações intersubjetivas.

ABSTRACT
This paper analyses the function and the importance of philosophical thought, in waht concerns its openess to the real, throught an analogy with Simone de Beauvoir’s memory texts. Philosophy and memory determine an approach method, paradoxical and critical of itself, which demands proper reading sources for the comprehension of the cultural meaning. It is aimed at the demonstration of the basic purpose of philosophical throught of the cultural meaning. It isaimed at the demonstration ofthe basic purpose of philosophical thought in the work of Beauvoir as the decipherment of the human soul and of the intersubjective relations.
