Abstract

Este artigo busca refletir sobre as contribuições de Christian Marazzi e Byung-Chul Han sobre os problemas da democracia a partir de duas perspectivas separadas historicamente. A perspectiva de Marazzi foi desenvolvida em meados da última década do século XX e, a perspectiva de Han foi desenvolvida em 2021. Procura-se investigar se há uma continuidade possível entre os dois autores. O desenvolvimento apresenta alguns tópicos sobre o entendimento de Marazzi a respeito das modificações no âmbito econômico e no âmbito político causados pela entrada da comunicação. Em relação à Han, busca-se mostrar como a sociedade atual está influenciada pelo afluxo de informação e, ele, igualmente, incide no âmbito político. Han realiza uma espécie de avaliação da esfera pública. Por fim, a conclusão aponta que há uma consonância entre os temas estudados pelos dois autores e esta poderia ser compreendida como uma continuidade que levanta preocupações sobre o futuro da democracia.
