A presente obra é um estudo de revisão crítica sobre uma das mais polêmicas obras de Sigmund Freud “Totem e Tabu” (1913), que versa sobre as concepções freudianas em torno da etnologia, e os surgimentos das religiões bem como a organização social e hierárquica das sociedades primitivas que influenciaram a nossa atual configuração de sociedade
