Abstract

Social media platforms are virtual spaces in which language is mobilized in acts of enunciation. Therefore, in this study, we investigate how the formal apparatus/frame of the enunciation is organized in order to understand how the I-you relations occur in this particular context. Therefore, we started from a theoretical shift of the concepts of Émile Benveniste's theory of language, specifically his considerations about the formal framework of enunciation, in a qualitative approach, to carry out a brief case study in which we seek to illustrate the organization of enunciative realizations in social media through a summary framework of Benvenistian principles. We can observe that there is a certain ephemerality of meaning, given the constant updating of language by discursive manifestations that are always very specific and particular in enunciations that do not stop re-producing our reality in social media.
