SUMMARY: This work explicitly aims at some issues, from the point of view of sociodissive interactionism (ISD), a theory-interpretation of the musical genre RAP expression activity focusing on social activities from an analysis. In this context, this article aims to present a re-reading of the poem Navio Negreiro, by Castro Alves, based on the re-reading in the music of the rapper Slim Rimografia in a social perspective of language as a communication activity. Therefore, we seek to bring relevant concepts in relation and discourse studies, present in ISD studies, as well as the dialogic relationship that is established in this musical style. Thus, it becomes valid to highlight how discursive formations can give new meaning to literature and strengthen the field of ideas of interaction that can occupy a discursive territoriality of dialoguing with different textual genres. the RAP in question reflects socio-historical aspects of Afro-Brazilian culture and, therefore, can be understood as a practice of discourse capable of transiting in several languages. In order to point out the specificities of this object of study, socio-interactionist theories will be used as discursive-dialogical bases in the theoretical principles of Volochinov (2017), Bronckart (2006/2008) and Bakhtin (2011).
