This article focused to understand how the tradition of anthologies is maintained and is updated in Brazilian’s literary productions. The corpus was the Poetic anthology As 29 poetas hoje, organized by Heloísa Buarque de Hollanda. The focus of this analysis was discuss how the preface evidences a methodological, discursive and political path that was adopted by the organizer. This text tried to highlight how new female voices are updated in the poetic field of the contemporary context and also this literature brings important guidelines to reflect on themes permeated by discussions of gender, race and social class. In addition, this study investigated in the poem “Palavras que adianto; arrisco; risco; hesito para seguir adiante I”, by Rita Isadora Pessoa some points of discussion about the identity formation, the poetic voice and authorship.
