Abstract

ABSTRACT: This paper analyzes the book publications of poetry produced by Millôr Fernandes. Approaching and
distancing the published works fromthe anthology genre, we also want to compare some poetic texts originally
published in O Cruzeiro magazine, from the 40s to the 60s, and the way they are presented in two books, Papáverum
Millôr and Essa cara não é me estranha e outros poemas, decades later. In addition, theaim of this work is also to
reveal some understanding regard the methods of textual compilation of the artist and also to trace part of the path of the
poems written, ilustrated and published by the carioca Millôr Fernandes.
