The present study starts with a brief review of literary on anthologies in Brazil, in order to reach the presence of poems, produced and performed in Brazilian Slams, in national anthologies, especially the poetic anthology entitled Das rua para as escola, das escola para as ruas: Interescolar Slam (ASSUNÇÃO; JESUS; SANTOS, 2021). This anthology, in addition to presenting a compilation of the production of young people and adolescents from schools in São Paulo who participated in the interschool Slam between the years 2015 and 2019, brings chapters such as “Slam Interescolar de São Paulo 2019”, “Slam Pedagogy” and “Interescolar around the world", which corroborate the understanding of this poetic scene in the pedagogical scope. The objective is to understand and list possible selection criteria for the poems that make up the anthology, in addition to discussing the informative and formative character of the work for teachers and other professionals in the field of poetry who aim to work the literary genre with young people and adolescents.
