National children's literature, since its beginnings, is marked by the voluminous presence of translations of foreign productions. This predominance continued until the mid-1970s, when this scenario slowly began to change, and the Brazilian publishing market expanded with national production. During this period, in addition to becoming famous for their authorial production, they dedicated themselves to the translation of important works by authors such as José Paulo Paes, Henriqueta Lisboa and Tatiana Belinky.
It is in the translations of poems carried out by Tatiana Belinky that we focus in this article, bringing light to this part of the author's production, sometimes so little read and cited. Among his works, the result of translations, we focus on the poetic texts that make up two collections: Di-versos: Russos (1990), Hebraicos (1991) and Alemães (1993); and Um caldeirão de poemas: 1 (2003) and 2 (2007). There are, therefore, five anthologies that add up to one hundred and twenty-six poems, a significant contribution within the universe of our poetry for children and young people.
