ESCRAVIZADOS NO VALE DO PARAÍBA: UM LEVANTAMENTO BIBLIOGRÁFICO ACERCA DE SUAS EXPERIÊNCIAS EM PRODUÇÕES INTELECTUAIS

A BIBLIOGRAPHIC SURVEY ABOUT THEIR EXPERIENCES IN INTELLECTUAL PRODUCTIONS

Abstract

Considering the cruel and distant process of slavery in Brazil, his perspective of analysis has long turned to contributions from the economic sphere, excluding the particularity and immensity of the cultural, ethnic, and identity of enslaved people. The general objective of this article is to make a brief survey and understand what has been produced about the experiences of the enslaved in the Paraíba valley in the State of São Paulo. In order to understand this theme, the literature review of this research is divided into two parts: in the first, the result of the survey of studies carried out on the theme addressed in databases researching descriptors was presented, and in the second part, the discussions and analyses of the selected productions are presented. Methodologically, the Systematic Literature Review was adopted, consisting of eight steps that allow a mapping of the theme to be researched. Data analysis was carried out from the observation of the productions and the historical context, taking into account the different approaches of the black population, including religion, celebrations, education and family structure. The importance of knowing this historiography is admitted, with the intention of analyzing history from another perspective, helping to contribute to studies on the culture, mentality and imagination of the Brazilian people.
